Terms of Service

MyCompassRN is an organizational tool designed to help nursing professionals store and organize licenses, certifications, continuing education records, documents, expiration dates, renewal information, and related professional records.

MyCompassRN does not issue, renew, verify, or guarantee professional licenses or certifications and is not a Board of Nursing, licensing authority, continuing education provider, law firm, or professional licensing adviser.

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting your login credentials, and maintaining the accuracy of information you enter into MyCompassRN. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account.

Expiration dates, license numbers, certification information, continuing education information, and other member records are entered or supplied by members. MyCompassRN does not independently verify member-entered information against Board of Nursing or other licensing records.

New members currently receive a seven-day free trial beginning when their trial profile is created. No credit card is required for the trial and the trial does not automatically charge the member.

When the trial expires, access to member features is restricted, except that the Account area remains available so the member may choose a paid membership. Data is not automatically deleted merely because a trial expires.

MyCompassRN may modify or discontinue trial offers for future users. Trial eligibility may also be limited in the future.

Current standard membership prices are $7.99 per month for the Monthly plan and $69 per year for the Yearly plan. The price shown at checkout controls the transaction.

Paid memberships are processed through Stripe. Payment-card and bank information is handled by Stripe and is not stored by MyCompassRN.

Eligible members using the BETA29 promotion may receive the Monthly plan for $2.99 per month for the first 12 months, after which it returns to the then-applicable regular Monthly price, currently $7.99 per month, unless cancelled.

Eligible members using BETA29 for the Yearly plan may receive the first year for $29, after which it returns to the then-applicable regular Yearly price, currently $69 per year, unless cancelled.

Promotional offers may be changed, limited, or discontinued for future purchases. The terms displayed at checkout and in the membership area apply to the member's purchase.

Paid memberships automatically renew at the end of each paid period unless cancelled. Stripe manages subscription billing and renewal processing.

Members are responsible for cancelling before the next renewal if they do not want another membership period charged.

Members may cancel a paid membership through Account > Membership > Cancel Membership. Cancellation stops future automatic renewal but does not end access immediately.

After cancellation, access continues through the end of the already-paid membership period. Once that paid-through date has passed, member features are restricted, except that the Account area remains available so the member may reactivate or purchase a membership. Stored member data is not deleted merely because a membership ends.

All paid membership fees are non-refundable. Cancelling a membership prevents future renewal charges but does not result in a refund or partial refund for the current paid period.

State licensing fees, renewal frequency, continuing education requirements, Board contact information, and similar information displayed by MyCompassRN are provided for convenience and may change.

Members are responsible for verifying current requirements directly with their applicable Board of Nursing, licensing authority, certification organization, or other official source. MyCompassRN does not guarantee that regulatory, licensing, renewal, or continuing education information is complete, current, or applicable to a particular member.

MyCompassRN may calculate status indicators and send expiration reminders based on dates and information entered by the member. These features are provided as organizational conveniences.

Reminders are a courtesy and are not guaranteed to be delivered or received. Members remain solely responsible for monitoring and satisfying their professional licensing, certification, continuing education, and renewal obligations, even if a reminder is late, missing, inaccurate, or unavailable.

MyCompassRN may provide links to Boards of Nursing, continuing education resources, and other third-party websites. MyCompassRN is not affiliated with or responsible for third-party content, pricing, availability, accreditation, policies, or services unless expressly stated otherwise.

Members should independently verify that third-party resources and continuing education offerings satisfy their applicable requirements.

Members may choose to send credential packets or temporary document links to an email address they provide. The member is responsible for entering the correct recipient address and deciding what information and documents to share.

MyCompassRN does not verify the identity or authorization of a recipient entered by a member. Temporary document links expire after a limited period.

Members are responsible for the content they upload and must have the right to store and share that content. Members should not use MyCompassRN to store unlawful material or information they are not authorized to possess or disclose.

Members may permanently delete their account using the Delete Account feature. Account deletion is irreversible.

The deletion process is designed to cancel an active Stripe subscription to prevent future renewal charges, delete the member's licenses, certifications, continuing education entries, other document records and profile, permanently delete the MyCompassRN login account, and sign the member out.

Certain records may remain with third-party service providers when retention is required for transaction records, legal obligations, fraud prevention, security, or other legitimate purposes under those providers' policies.

MyCompassRN may update, modify, add, suspend, or discontinue features as the service develops. While reasonable efforts are made to keep the service available, uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed.

Members should maintain any independent records or copies they consider necessary for professional compliance or other important purposes.

To the extent permitted by law, MyCompassRN is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of uninterrupted availability, accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.

MyCompassRN is an organizational service and does not provide legal, regulatory, licensing, tax, medical, or other professional advice.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, MyCompassRN and its owner or operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from use of or inability to use the service, missed renewals or deadlines, reliance on member-entered or third-party information, third-party services, or lost or unavailable data.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

You may not misuse MyCompassRN, attempt unauthorized access to another member's information, interfere with the service or its security, use the service for unlawful purposes, or upload content that violates another person's rights.

Use of MyCompassRN is also governed by the MyCompassRN Privacy Policy, available through the website.

These Terms may be updated as MyCompassRN changes or as legal, technical, or business requirements evolve. The effective date will be updated when the Terms change. Material changes may also be communicated through the website or other appropriate means.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
